Lusitanian Music Publishing signs RAIA: ToZé Bexiga’s avant-garde Viola Campaniça exploration project!

Hailing from the RAIA region between inland Portugal, on the border of Spain, and presently living in Évora, Alentejo, multi-instrumentalist composer António “ToZé” Bexiga is active in music as well as in theatre and is on the forefront of experimentation using the regional folk chordophone instrument from the Alentejo, the Viola Campaniça.

Following the release of three singles, featuring several guest artists such as O GAJO, Thomas Atar Bellier and OMIRI, RAIA is now putting the finishing touches on the project’s debut LP, coming this Fall.

Lusitanian Music Publishing is happy to announce the signing of António Bexiga as a Lusitanian writer / composer, as well as the upcoming RAIA album on the Lusitanian Folk label, distributed via Mermaids & Albatrosses digital distribution, as well as Popstock (PT/ES) and Broken Silence (GSA) for the physical LPs.
