Working with the Estate of José Afonso, and by special invitation from Pedro Afonso, Lusitanian Music Publishing and the Mais 5 label invited a group of artists to celebrate the songs of José Afonso in a special “invocation” multimedia artist residency during the month of April at Teatro Faialense, Horta, Açores. With support from the CMH – Câmara Municipal da Horta and ALRAA – Assembleia Legislativa da Região Autónoma dos Açores, the residency featured:

Known outside Portugal as “Wanderer Songs”, the collective will perform live at the Rudolstadt Festival July 5th and release new music this Summer. A live album is expected in the Fall of 2024.
